ENOTECA

On Via Roma in the center of Soave, Enoteca del Soave is the town’s historic wine shop. Founded in 1980 by Cantina del Castello, it initially served as a store for selling its own wines. Almost immediately, the product selection was expanded by including other producers of the area to promote the entire Soave D.O.C. denomination.

Since April 2024, after nearly 40 years, Cantina del Castello has returned to direct management, to further enhance the value of Soave and other typical products of the area, particularly Valpolicella wines and Lessini Durello.

WINES

You will find a wide selection of Soave wines covering the different peculiarities of the denomination.

Soave produced in the Classic area and abroad, made from the traditional Garganega-Trebbiano blend or with pure Garganega grapes. Produced from grapes grown in volcanic and non-volcanic soils, vintage Soave and Soave from longer aging in steel, wood, cement, or terracotta. Last but not least, Recioto di Soave, the first D.O.C.G. from Veneto… in short, all the nuances of Soave!

On the wine list, you will also find Valpolicella wines produced in the valleys further east of the denomination, a selection of bubbles from local wineries, and in particular excellent Lessini Durello classic method.

OUR GASTRONOMY

Our “signature dishes” are our charcuterie boards with locally produced cold cuts and cheeses. With these same products, we also prepare our delicious sandwiches and flatbreads! We prepare quick seasonal dishes, ranging from a good, fresh Caprese salad in summer to hot dishes in winter.
